On Thursday, March 7, Coppell Chamber of Commerce organized a ChatGPT Workshop at Dallas College North Lake Campus at Coppell.
The workshop lasted for almost an hour and there were 27 guests altogether. Most of the guests were entrepreneurs in the city of Coppell.
The general theme for the seminar was to educate the attendees about the ChatGPT.
The presenter for the seminar was Angie Cook along with the co-presenter Ulanda Forbess full-time English professors at NLC.
The workshop started with discussions about the definitions of ChatGPT and its history. They provide a timeline about the advancement of ChatGPT through the year of 2023.
Ulanda said,“Facebook took 3 years to get to 100 million users while ChatGPT took a month. This is the explosion of this program.”
Following the presentation, the professors further discussed how helpful the program can be for business.
They also explored the challenges and risks involved in using the AI program.
At the end, the workshop also featured hands-on activities such as writing prompts on ChatGPT, which provided guests with the opportunity to apply everything they learned to real world scenarios.
For instance, writing the prompt to analyze quantitative data, write and quote to their customers, suggest a business strategy and so on.
