Texas candidate forums will be hosted by the League of Women Voters – Irving, in partnership with North Lake News and the North Lake News-Register for the upcoming Nov. 5 election.
Incumbent Democrat Terry Meza faces off against Republican challenger Rose Cannaday in the race for House District 105.
The House District 115 race pits Democrat Cassandra Hernandez against Republican John Jun. Sharon Barbosa-Crain, a former council member of Irving City, will serve as the forum moderator.
The Texas Candidate Forum will be held in the television studio on North Lake Campus on Tuesday, October 15, starting at 6:30 p.m. The program is open to staff, educators, and students to view from room G404. There will be light fare available.
