The toughest two minutes in sports comes to Dallas College and is proud to host the 2025 Firefighter Challenge World Championship series. With lots of sponsors for the event help with the equipment and gear for the firefighters to show off their skills in a dynamic and engaging way.
“I am the brand partnerships manager for Servpro industries, and we are the title sponsor for firefighter challenge league,” said Roy Adcock, manager for Servpro.
The firefighter challenge league is a competitive sport where first responders can come together to compete for fun against each other, yet they continue to develop their skills that they use on the job.
“Dallas College was very generous in allowing us to; be able to utilize part of their beautiful campus here. We are greatly, greatly appreciative of that,” said Adcock.
Support brings each of the first responder communities from around the globe together in one place.
“It benefits the community by showcasing the skills of these first responders,” said Adcock.
Despite being out of their comfort zone, many participants here are excited knowing they have support from all communities.
“I work for Toronto fire emergencies services. I played a lot of sports; there’s nothing like this. I can compare it, too. Truly the hardest two minutes in sports,” said Eric Fergonas, a participant in the championship.
This Firefighter Challenge World Championship series was a wonderful way to bring different communities together.
